Want to be able to dance confidently and feel comfortable in traditional milongas of Buenos Aires? Our teaching develops your musicality, connection, technique & improvisation with social tango, as well as insights into tango culture and critical skills to build your confidence with milonga etiquette.
I remember seeing Nelo Melo and Jennifer doing the same years ago in a video.
They proved they can dance in a small space, but I don't care for those busy feet. If that's what is necessary to keep people interested in tango, then social dancing is doomed.
Thanks for your comment, Jantango. I agree that 'busy feet' can detract from the social dance experience - especially if the 'busyness' disturbs one's partner. Unfortunately, some ladies can be so concerned with decorations, that they lose the all-important connection with their partner.
Regardless of this, the video serves to show how much fun dancing in a small space can be. Those who can only dance in wide open spaces don't know what they are missing. PP
Improve your social dance skills and confidence; refine technique; develop better musical responses; increase your vocabulary of figures.
We can work with one or two people.
